How do I get on a bid list?

To subscribe to a bid list, follow the link below to the Bid Information System (BIS) and subscribe to the service. Once you have done this, you will automatically receive University of Minnesota bid opportunities attached to your email.

How can I find out how I did on a bid?

Vendors may attend the bid openings if they wish to see how their bids compare to other vendors' bids. Request for Bid information is shared at the time of the bid opening. Request for Proposal information cannot be shared with any external vendor until after the award has been made. After a decision is made all information is available to vendors. The Files Section of Purchasing Services can provide the current status of a Request for Proposal. The Files section can be reached at (612) 624-2319 or via email at flask007@.umn.edu. Vendors MUST provide the Bid or Proposal number when contacting the Files Section.
