Responsibilities
The Director of Purchasing Services is responsible for directing the
operation of the Purchasing department and for coordinating services
with internal users and external constituencies. The Director initiates
and oversees long range planning and developing of departmental objectives;
oversees and provides managerial direction for the development and
installation of purchasing automated systems; reviews and improves
delivery of purchasing services provided to Purchasing's internal customers; and systematically reviews Purchasing policies and recommends
changes as necessary to meet organizational goals. |
